Breif and ideas for FMP ( and unit 76 link in

So far for my FMP i have developed from wanting to create extreme body modifications to going into showing the effects of war on civilians and soldiers through artworks of a somewhat traffic nature so fro my brief.
i have decided that my work should entail me drawing and illustrating the effects of WW1&2  and to go about this through using different brushes and techniques too create different effects use a range of colour that should be as close and accurate as possible to the colours of the uniforms that the soldiers were wearing during the wars and make sure i closely replicate what the conditions would look like during the war.
Throughout my project i wish to start experimenting with college and have started doing so on one of my pieces however i want to take this further and use newspaper clippings and other things such as fabric and tissue paper to give different effects when i paint over them (hopefully giving the effect of fire on my next work).
Through other work i have notice i have trouble creating human facial features and through this i have researched and looked at tutorials to improve my technique and i believe it has improved vastly. therefor i must make sure each person is amatiomicaly correct to the best of my ability.
I must make sure each subject of my painting is researched to an equal standed and that each piece is planed out and has been well thought out before diving in and just painting something without looking into it before hand.

I started by looking into the album artists for Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden, i looked into the history of each artist and when they were born making sure i had most information about each artist i then looked at were they drew there ideas from and experimented drawing in their style i also looked at what materials were used when the artist created the work.
Then i looked at my chosen subject which was WW1&2 and looked at the history and what started the wars i then proceeded to look at each sides uniforms and weaponry to get a general idea of what they looked like so i could replicate it to some accuracy.
Afterwords and a lot of research later i began creating artworks looking into the subject of each artwork and noting down in  my sketch book. I have also began planning out each piece before i start diving in and creating an artwork without specific and adequate research.

I will be doing this through my work

Unit 76 link in

looking back at the breif and what I hope to achieve through this project we as a class have been set points for us to meet and keep us on track through the prossess

1.Be able to explore subjects and concepts on a specific theme.

2. Be able to gather reserch material for fine art ideas

3. Be able to exsperoment with methods and materials to generate ideas.

4. Know how to develop and present ideas for fine artwork.

As far as my breif goes I think I am on track and am meeting what I set for myself, and throughout Easter break I havve done research and gone to a couple of museums when on my trip to York for my birthday I have also been looking more into my artists and finding out more about their styles and what makes them stand out to me as an artist

My idea for unit 76 is to take a childs teddy bear ( representing a young child) that is dressed in a solders outfit ( build a bear) because my FMP is showing the effects of war i wanted to tie in this unit by that line i have chosen too therefore photo the bear in places not nesserserily out of place for a childs stuffed animal but instead were you would not see a soldier or someone of war.
