One Day Project - End Result and evaluation

I think the one day project worked out quite well and i an satisfied with the finished product to accomplish this i got giraffe fur pattern and layered it over the picture of myself that i edited to look like a airbrushed copy of a model from a magazine i used bigger spots on the face so the detail wasn't taken out of the face i then used a smaller pattern for the hair and reduced the opacity within the layer  so there was detail in the hair and smudged the layer  so it gee the effect that the pattern was part of my hair and looked more realistic a have also changed the levels and made the back ground whiter and without shadow i then moved everything into illustrator  so i could make it the cover of the magazine 

Overall i am please with the outcome of my efforts however if i was to change anything about my work i would choose a different photo of myself because i don't like the way i look in this photo so i would use one were i look more natural in the photo and i am smiling or happy rather then looking like i am displease with something.

i would also change the colour scheme and name because i don't like the brown as much as when i created the piece, but i still think it looks ok for the time we had to do it in.
