Georgia o'Keeffe

Born in America in 1887  she  first came to the attention of the  art community around 1916. Were she made large paintings of enlarged blossoms,, and New York city  buildings,. Beginning in 1929, when she began working part of the year in Northern Mexico —which she made her permanent home in 1949—O’Keeffe depicted thing specific to that area like her famous flower paintings.
