Research for my products packaging

I wanted something clean and straight to the point that wasn't to busy for my product and since my product is a piece of technology therefor i am looking at packaging for products like the Nintendo DS  and phones. however i want my product to stand out in a shop

This has more colour on it however i think the image of the product is getting lost in the background as they are both the same blue all you can really see is the red 3 and i wouldn't have my product displayed like this.

 This box only has the product and what it does on it however i don't think it would stand out on a shelf and i wish for my product to stand out in a shop and make people want to buy it.

 This box for the Nintendo is a better design  its a plane background with the colour being placed on the sides and top with the brand name in a prime place for people to see it and automatically no and recognise what it is.

 The IPhone box is also a clear a sleek design with only the product shown on the top of the box and the logo on the side and model of phone on the side its clear and straight to what the company is selling to the consumer it is designed to draw the customer to connecting with the device and company

  When i saw the the Nintendo box i was i immediately drawn to the pixels on the box and in someway wanted to replicate this onto my own product in some way so i started to look at pixels on google and pulled a few images that i like to preference when i stared to design my box in grated detail and bellow i have another two design the second one i like the design and spacing of the squares however the colour key is to close the Nintendo box.


 i might use the scattering effect however i will not use the colour scheme.












i like the great black and white design as it look professional and clean rather then like a child's jigsaw or patchwork also it leaves it looked better if its a limited pallet.
