this is my finished design for the slumber spaniel post box I've left everything white for impact and i think in this case it works best that way

When its put up onto the post box the post box will remain the red but with the design over the top  i am happy with the editing that I've done and it looks close to the original artists work but not so much that its exact which is what i like about this piece.

clumber spaniel post box design research

The Clumber Spaniel is a breed of dog of the spaniel type, developed in the United Kingdom. It is the largest of the spaniels, and comes in predominantly white with either lemon or orange markings, but can sometimes be either brown or lemon predominantly. The name of the breed is taken from Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire where the breed was first developed. It is a gundog that specialises in hunting in heavy cover. They are gentle and loyal, and can act aloof with strangers. 

Clumbers have minds of their own. Puppies are especially curious and playful. The breed has a trophy mentality and the dog has an incessant need to carry something most of the time; unfortunately this can lead to health issues as they may ingest the items

Plan for my next piece FMP

I want to do a piece involving prints of shotgun cartages (the metal end) then glue gunning them to the page.  while painting the gun underneath so it looks like the cartages are coming towards the person.

Essay Ideas

for my essay I am looking at 1960s since it seems that my entire works this year are more focused on that era it only makes sense, therefor this is the era I will be focusing on and more upon pop culture/ music side.

This is the picture/design concept i came up with from the photos of the dog in the previous posts wanted to keep it looking as real as possible and i like the outcome and is in my opinion one of the best posts I've done this year so far.

i have already put up work simmilar but i wanted to do the image more realistic and closer to the work of Derek Riggs

Unit 76 research pictures

his is the post box picture I'm using we have been set to design decoration for the post boxes similar to the gold post box but our own designs related to Worksop

I then went and looked at the famous/obscure things and facts  bout Worksop and looked at ways i could link these things to my FMP.

I then though of linking it through iron maiden and thought about the things that I could do through it
As Bruce Dickinson is from worksop,  I thought why not create an image of him in the style of Derek Riggs.

The image I used to create a merge of Bruce and Eddie.
